IMPORTANT: The file portal is designed for professional users with genuine tuning tools. We do not offer support to users with clone tools because they cause lots of problems.
1. We assume that only professional users will use the file portal and as such should have the knowledge to check the integrity of a tuning file before uploading it to the ECU. If you don’t know how to check the file matches your original read – then you will be proceeding at your own risk.
2. Each folder has an original file – mod file – and a mode file with checksums calculated.
-If you have professional paid tuning tools – then you should allow your tool to fix the checksums.
-We included the full original file because most tools need this to calculate the RSA signature sum.
-We also included a file with RSA sum and CKS calculated.
-Clone users – You must use the file with CKS repaired. (We don’t condone the use of clone tools – and we can’t stop you from using clone tools and we can’t stop you from buying the file – but we made the files with checksum corrections so that you don’t need to message us to ask us to fix the checksum).
3. Users with Auto tuner tool: your tool will use a 2MB file instead of a 4MB file. We made a tool which splits the file to match autotuner format. It’s designed only to be used on ECUs with the TC1797 processor – and not those with TC1796. For TC1796 it has 2MB IROM and 2MB XROM and then auto tuner changes the order of these parts instead of joining sequentially. In that case you must edit the file yourself – the original is included so you can copy the changes over in WinOLS.
-Almost all PSA EDC17C10 use the TC1797 processor with 4MB internal flash
-The only ECU hardware with TC1796 should be 0281015847 and 0281015848
4. Users with CDM flash tool
-You can use the same 2MB utility – the file is almost the same – you must reset the values outside of the datablock to match the original file in WinOLS.
5. If programming over OBD with a Virtual read (VR) file – ensure that SW Upgrade matches exactly.
6. If the file you purchased has DPF or EGR delete – it is strictly for off road use – track use – diagnostic purposes only. Please do not use the delete files for road use.
Instructions for DPF delete:
-Reset DPF soot with diag tool before writing sw update.
-Use diag tool to refill additive – you don’t actually need to refill it.
-Sensors can stay present – or be removed – they are removed from the software – including the Oxygen sensor.
Instructions for EGR delete:
-EGR is set to hold closed via hysteresis maps. Associated faults are removed.
-EGR can also be unplugged if faulty – it’s a big solenoid below the air box.
