The 1.6 HDI 8v engine from 2010 to 2015 came in several variants. The 75 and 90 BHP variants all came fitted with the Bosch EDC17C10 ECU.

The EDC17C10 came in two variants, one had the Infineon tricore TC1796 processor with a 2MB internal flash and 2MB external flash, and the other variant was the TC1797 with came with a 4MB IROM internal flash. The way the ECUs work is basically identical, and it doesn’t make any difference except when programming. Most tools will handle this for you and some even combine the 2 x 2MB files together.
